1. Fan content disclaimer

DBD Arena is an unofficial, non-commercial fan project made by and for the Dead by Daylight community. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Behaviour Interactive Inc.

Dead by Daylight™, all killer and survivor names, characters, images and related marks are trademarks and copyrights of Behaviour Interactive Inc. and/or their respective licensors. Any such material appears here under fair-use / fan-content principles, free of charge, for community organisation purposes only. Nothing sold on this site contains Behaviour Interactive assets - Premium cosmetics are 100% original DBD Arena designs. If you are a rights holder and want something removed, contact us and it will be taken down promptly.

This platform does not modify the game, does not interact with game files or servers, and provides no gameplay advantage. It is a scoreboard and community layer operated entirely outside the game.

2. Terms of service

• You need a Discord account to register. One account per person; do not impersonate others.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use this site.
• Play fair: cheating, win-trading, boosting, harassment, hate speech, or abusing bugs may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans at the staff's sole discretion.
• Match results, chat messages and reports are logged and may be reviewed by staff for moderation.
• Usernames and profile content must not be offensive, misleading, or infringe third-party rights. Staff may rename or remove content that breaks this rule.
• The service is provided "as is", without any warranty. We may change, suspend, or shut down features - or the whole platform - at any time, without prior notice.
• We are not liable for any indirect damages, lost data (including Elo, badges, or Hex Points), or downtime. Ratings and virtual items have no monetary value.
• These terms may be updated; continued use after changes means you accept them.

3. Premium & payments

• Premium is an optional, purely cosmetic supporter tier. It never grants competitive advantages.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
• Premium activates automatically after payment (usually within a minute) and lasts 30 days per payment. If it does not activate, contact us and we will fix it manually.
• By purchasing you expressly consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that the EU 14-day withdrawal right is thereby waived once Premium is activated. Genuine problems (double charge, failed activation) are always refunded - just ask.
• If the platform shuts down permanently, active Premium periods are not refundable given the symbolic price and supporter nature of the purchase.

4. Privacy policy

We collect the minimum needed to run a competitive platform:

• From Discord (OAuth): your Discord ID, username and avatar. We never see your Discord password or messages.
• What you provide: profile bio, country, region, socials, uploaded avatar, chat messages, reports.
• Automatically: match results and timings, IP address (rate limiting and anti-abuse / alt detection), session cookie (login), timestamps.

Data is stored with our hosting providers (Vercel, Render, Supabase - EU region for the database) and shared with no one else, except Stripe for payments. We do not sell data, run ads, or use tracking/analytics cookies - the only cookie is your login session.

Under GDPR you can request a copy of your data or its deletion at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile; anonymised match records may be retained for leaderboard integrity.

5. User content & moderation

You keep ownership of content you post (bio, avatar, messages) and grant us a licence to display it on the platform. Staff may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms. Ban decisions can be appealed once through the report system or by contacting staff on Discord.

6. Contact

For legal requests, data requests, takedowns, payment issues or appeals: reach the owner on Discord (via the community server) or through the platform's report system. We aim to answer within 7 days.
